Turanga Festival is a special time to sing songs and celebrate the maori culture. As soon as I walk in, I see huge black steps leading up to a humongous stage in front of millions of beady little eyes. As soon as we were on stage, waves of applause came from the audience. Gentle songs filled the air with excitement as the day faded away. Hundreds of words streamed out of our mouths as the audience roared with glee. A truly magical moment.
